What is Integrative Wellness?

Integrative wellness takes healing beyond the physical or simply managing symptoms; it focuses on nurturing balance in every aspect of life, to bring lasting, whole-person healing from the inside out.

It invites you to look at the “bigger picture” of how you feel— how one’s support systems, habits and values, environment, relationships, personal history, and current situations all act as interconnected pieces that shape your unique path to health.

Integrative wellness is all about acknowledging YOU as the best expert of your own well-being, and you’re the judge of what works best.

Wellness is Multi-dimensional.

The Integrated Wellness perspective is based on an interconnected foundation of wellness in 8 core dimensions:

Emotional:

Navigating emotions with self-compassion to build resilience and find inner peace.

Physical:

Nurturing your body with movement, nutrition, rest, and self-care.

Occupational:

Cultivating purpose and balance in work and daily life.

Social:

Building supportive, meaningful connections and feeling a sense of belonging.

Intellectual:

Staying curious, open-minded, and engaged in learning and creativity.

Spiritual:

Connecting with what brings peace, purpose, and a deeper sense of meaning.

Environmental:

Creating a safe, calming space that aligns with your well-being.

Financial:

Building stability and easing financial stress for lasting security.

Striving for balance means nurturing each dimension with intentional choices and living according to your values while holding space for growth, rest, and fulfillment.

The Practice of Wellness.

Wellness is a sustained practice — conscious choices, made everyday to keep showing up for yourself.

Instead of striving for a perfect record, or the ultimate schedule of doing “all the right things”, consider the practice of wellness to be the consistent effort of showing yourself compassion. It’s about tuning in to what you truly need, and pursuing intentional, gratifying ways to fulfill those needs.

Life might seem like a series of challenges seemingly designed to derail us, but with mindfulness, guidance, and support, this practice is sustainable and adaptable through any hardship.

We’ll work together to cultivate mindfulness, create manageable goals, healthy boundaries, accountability structures, routines, habit trackers, and any other aspects that may be helpful on your journey to feeling whole.

Some of these may include:

  • Guidance on nutrition, intuitive eating, and supplement recommendations

  • Modifying existing or creating new routines and behavioral patterns, such as bed-time rituals for better rest.

  • Mindful habit forming, such as incorporating or adjusting movement/exercise or prioritizing time for self-care activities.

  • Reaffirming or re-evaluating personal goals to align with one’s values and current circumstances.
