Most sessions last about 50-60 minutes. In the event that a longer session is required, options and fees can be discussed in advance.
Your initial intake appointment can take up to 90 minutes, so plan your schedule accordingly.

Everyone’s circumstances are unique. Some people come for a few sessions to work through something specific, while others prefer ongoing support.
The amount of time therapy can take depends on many factors, including your commitment to the process, the complexity of the issues you wish to work on, and the factors that are influencing you to seek healing in the first place.
As we begin to identify your goals for therapy, we’ll monitor progress together to create a plan that best suits your needs.
-
Rates range from $135 - $175 and may vary depending on the therapist and type of session.
Your therapist will provide you with more detailed information about rates and fees at your initial intake appointment, or schedule a consult call and we’ll happily answer any additional questions.
-
We don’t accept insurance directly, but we can provide you with a “superbill” that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
It’s important to look at your benefits carefully if you plan to use insurance, some clients may receive 100% reimbursement while others may receive none.
We can go over any questions you may have about filing with insurance and superbills at your initial intake appointment, or schedule a consult call.

Yes! Most HSA and FSA plans cover therapy, but we always recommend double-checking with your insurance provider just to be sure. Notify your therapist at your intake appointment if you plan to use HSA/FSA funds, and they can provide you with the necessary documentation.

Life happens— we get it! If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask for at least 48 hours' notice to allow us to offer the appointment time to another client.
For late cancellations or if you miss your appointment, a fee of the full session rate will be charged. This policy is in place to help us manage our schedule efficiently and ensures that we can provide care to as many clients as possible.
Refer to the following to determine day in which you must cancel or reschedule to avoid the fee:
Appointment on Monday: cancel by time of appointment on Friday
Appointment on Tuesday: cancel by time of appointment on Sunday
Appointment on Wednesday: cancel by time of appointment on Monday
Appointment on Thursday: cancel by time of appointment on Tuesday
Appointment on Friday: cancel by time of appointment on Wednesday

Your privacy and confidentiality are very important to us, and we’re committed to making sure your personal information is protected. Everything you share during therapy sessions is handled with care and respect, and it stays between us unless specific legal exceptions require otherwise. For example, we may need to break confidentiality if there’s a risk of harm to yourself or others, if there’s suspected abuse, or if a court orders us to share information— but we’ll go over these exceptions in detail during your initial intake session so there are no surprises.
Outside of these rare cases, your information will never be shared without your explicit permission. It’s also worth noting that while we strive to keep communication secure, emails and online forms aren’t always 100% protected under HIPAA guidelines. For this reason, we suggest keeping sensitive details for our sessions and using email only for general questions or scheduling. If you ever have concerns about privacy or how your information is handled, don’t hesitate to ask— we’re here to make sure you feel comfortable and informed every step of the way.

Nope! Therapy is for everyone. You don’t need a diagnosis to benefit from talking things through with a professional.
However, there may be exceptions to this if you plan to file with your insurance for reimbursement or use HSA/FSA funds to pay for therapy.
Many insurance providers require documentation with a mental health diagnosis that will be part of your permanent health record. This record may also be shared with third party payers or others involved in your health care. If you feel uncomfortable with having a mental health diagnosis or having that information shared, then you may choose not to use your insurance benefit.
More information on our insurance and privacy policies will be given at your initial intake appointment, or schedule a consult with us for any additional questions.
