Our goal at Heartcore is to foster a community of wellness-minded partners, and develop a comprehensive referral network aligned with a shared vision of healing and wellness. As we grow, we are dedicated to creating opportunities for learning, collaboration, sharing expertise, professional development, and building meaningful, lasting connections.

We warmly invite fellow healing practitioners, therapists, health coaches, and integrative and functional medicine providers to join our expanding network.

We’d love for you to be part of our collective—let’s connect!

Office Policies

  • To schedule your initial consult call to get started with therapy, get in touch with us via our email form or you can call us at (843) 284-9402.

(Please note that this email is not HIPPA-protected, so any personal health information shared through our email form is at your own discretion, and may not be fully confidential.)

All following therapy appointments can be made directly with your therapist. We offer flexible scheduling options, including evening time slots or virtual appointments, to accommodate a variety of needs.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask for at least 48 hours' notice to allow us to offer the appointment time to another client. Please note that late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee as part of our cancellation policy. This policy helps us manage our schedule efficiently and ensures that we can provide care to as many clients as possible.

For more details about appointments, scheduling, or our cancellation policy, see our General Office Policies page. For any additional questions, feel free to reach out - we’re here to help!

  • Payment for services is required at the time of each session. An Initial Intake Diagnostic Assessment is $175 for 60-75 minutes. Therapy sessions thereafter range from $135 for 45-50 minute sessions, and $165 for 50-60 minute sessions.

A credit card must be kept on file in the event of late cancellation or missed appointments. (See more in “Appointments and Scheduling” for further questions about our cancellation policy.)

Heartcore operates on a private-pay basis, which means we do not accept insurance directly. However, we are happy to provide a detailed receipt, known as a "superbill," which you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement if your plan allows.

If you choose to use insurance for reimbursement, check your benefits carefully—some people get full coverage, while others get none. Keep in mind that using insurance requires a mental health diagnosis, which becomes part of your permanent health record and may be shared with third parties. If you're uncomfortable with this, you may prefer not to use insurance. You can also use HSA/FSA funds for services if available to you.

  • Your privacy and confidentiality are very important to us, and we’re committed to making sure your personal information is protected. Everything you share during therapy sessions is handled with care and respect, and it stays between us unless specific legal exceptions require otherwise. For example, we may need to break confidentiality if there’s a risk of harm to yourself or others, if there’s suspected abuse, or if a court orders us to share information—but we’ll go over these exceptions in detail during your first session so there are no surprises.

Outside of these rare cases, your information will never be shared without your explicit permission. It’s also worth noting that while we strive to keep communication secure, emails and online forms aren’t always 100% protected under HIPAA guidelines. For this reason, we suggest keeping sensitive details for our sessions and using email only for general questions or scheduling. If you ever have concerns about privacy or how your information is handled, don’t hesitate to ask—we’re here to make sure you feel comfortable and informed every step of the way.

  • We are located conveniently off I-526 in the Daniel Island Marina Village at 669 Marina Drive Suite B6, Charleston, SC, 29492.

Our entrance is just to the right of the State Farm office, and there is plenty of free parking available in front of the building. Please note that our office is on the second floor, and accessibility accommodations may be limited.

If you have any trouble finding us, give us a call and we’d be happy to guide you!

There is a way to find meaning in the pain, and hope for your healing.
